UNDERSTAND THE TESTWhat Is the CELPIP Test?
CELPIP is a computer-delivered English-language proficiency test. The CELPIP-General test assesses four skills—Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking—in one sitting and is used for certain Canadian immigration and professional purposes.
The test is completed on a computer, so preparation should include understanding task instructions, managing time on screen, typing clearly and recording spoken responses through a headset and microphone.
Before booking, confirm which test and score are accepted for your specific immigration, employment or professional pathway through the relevant official organisation.
Start with your goal. Identify the score or language level you need, assess your current English proficiency, and then build a preparation plan around the skills that require the most attention.
